There’s a reason why this snake is also one of the deadliest. If provoked it will repeatedly strike, and with each bite inject a deadly amount of cardiotoxin and neurotoxic venom. Its bite can kill a human being in less than 20 minutes. They get their name from the black of the inside of their mouth. They are brown in color.
